In one of my previous updates I stated that I have been nursing a sore left foot from sleeping crooked. It continues to be sore after several weeks. I have an appointment with orthopedic surgeon Dr. Neil Bakshi at Trinity Health Medical Center in Livonia, MI on Tuesday 7/14/2026 at 8:30 a.m. In case you don’t know who Dr. Bakshi is, I’ll tell you:

During the early morning hours of Saturday, 2/12/2022 I was walking to my vehicle to do my routine grocery shopping when I slipped and fell on a patch of ice outside of the apartment complex. I later learn that I had a hair-line fracture in the fibula of my left leg. It had to be surgically repaired with a titanium plate and screws. It was after the surgery, however, that I learned that I had a “double whammy”. A ligament in my ankle on my foot was torn from that same incident and also had to be surgically repaired. Dr. Bakshi was the one who performed the surgery.

There’s a possibility that the pain could stem from that surgery in March of 2022. All I can do is hope and pray that it’s not the case. You will be given an update on it.
